It's like yoga for my mind!
I hope everyone had a wonderful Easter weekend and hopefully had some good, quality family time! Last week was really strange. I have definitely noticed more calls for closings during the month (and not just at month end) so that means Lenders are getting busier with the lower rate boom we had a couple of weeks ago. A Notary Coach walks into a bar....
Good morning and Happy April Fool's Day. I promise no tricks today....just a quick update on a fun notary meet up yesterday. Normally, I'd say "NO" to a networking event on a Sunday. I missed you - a moment of gratitude!
Last week was great! I got to travel across 3 states to see my family, spend quality time with my son (who graduates high school next year) and visit with my best friends. But.....I missed work! Being Successful Means Being the Best, Right?
Managing a business is an exercise in self-discipline. I’ve never been the best at that. I find that some days I do the bare minimum so I’m meeting my goal, but not exceeding it. I’m not going above and beyond. Right now the nation is preparing for Super Bowl LIII. A contest of strength and will against the best athletes in the country. Life gets in the way....
I never got around to the networking events I wrote about in my last post. Sometimes life gets in the way, and it sure did last week. My 13-year-old dog, Jax crossed the rainbow bridge on Wednesday. Losing a pet is awful, but having to make the decision to put them to sleep is the worst. I’ve never had to do that before and I hope to never have to again. I know it was for the best and it relieved him of his pain, but it still broke my heart. I don’t think I have any tears

Is nervousness normal?
It's January so that means all small business owners, like myself are super motivated to market our services. We're rested from the holidays and ready to get out there and network. I keep hearing that blogging is also a great way to introduce yourself to your customers and community, so I thought I'd give it a go!
